Taking Student Success to Scale: Achieving Collective Impact

Increasingly, the higher education community is embracing collective impact as a strategy to bring partners together to successfully improve student outcomes. Higher education systems are uniquely positioned to ensure that public institutions are able to fulfill their dual promise of access and opportunity. By aligning student success efforts across systems and the campuses that compose them with a series of evidence-based practices, NASH hopes to create economies of scale and scope that lead to demonstrable gains in completions. A formal initiative to advance this approach is under development. Contact NASH Executive Director Rebecca Martin for details at rebecca@nash-dc.org

NASH Priorities

NASH focuses on the unique challenges and opportunities facing leaders in public college and university systems, and the ways that system leadership can support transformative and collective strategies. NASH serves its member systems by organizing system leadership around a series of core initiatives that center on promoting increases in access and degree attainment for all students and leveraging system offices to support efforts of change. These efforts include making student mobility seamless across institutions, strengthening the K-12 to career pipeline, advancing alternative delivery, and coordinating system and campus institutional research offices in ways that satisfy the demands of a growing group of stakeholders.
