System/Campus trend data on spending patterns

NASH has partnered with the Delta Cost Project at the American Institutes for Research to prepare a special analysis of spending and revenue patterns over the 2005-2010 academic years for public governing board systems, organized both by system and by campus within system. The Delta data base is the only one such that includes data on spending as well as revenues, for both public and private non-profit institutions, organized in metrics to make comparisons of changes over time more readily transparent. Reports for each system are available in PDF format on the NASH website under the Delta Data tab (Click 'Delta Data' to expand and see the list) on the Strategic Initiatives page, and the entire Delta data base including comparative information for institutions that are not part of public multi-campus systems may be downloaded from the Trends in College Spending On-line webpage.

Excel file formats with the raw data for systems/campuses may be obtained from Jane Wellman at the NASH office, jane@nash-dc.org.

NASH Priorities

NASH focuses on the unique challenges and opportunities facing leaders in public college and university systems, and the ways that system leadership can support transformative and collective strategies. NASH serves its member systems by organizing system leadership around a series of core initiatives that center on promoting increases in access and degree attainment for all students and leveraging system offices to support efforts of change. These efforts include making student mobility seamless across institutions, strengthening the K-12 to career pipeline, advancing alternative delivery, and coordinating system and campus institutional research offices in ways that satisfy the demands of a growing group of stakeholders.
